 POEM: BACHAPAN

**एक बचपन का ज़माना था**  

जिसमें खुशियों का ख़ज़ाना था।  

हर दिन हंसी का तराना था,  

बिना चिंता का ठिकाना था।  

वो खेल कूद के मेले थे,  

सपनों के प्यारे झूले थे।  

हर पल नयी उमंगों से भरा,  

बस मस्ती में डूबा मन हमारा।  

ना कोई फिक्र थी कल की,  

ना आज की कोई परेशानी थी।  

दिल से बस हम जीते थे,  

चाहे रात हो या सुबह की रवानी थी।  

वो मिट्टी के घरौंदे बनाना,  

और दोस्तों संग उन्हें सजाना।  

छोटे-छोटे पल भी बड़े थे,  

जैसे दुनिया में हम ही बड़े थे।  

अब वो दिन बस यादों में हैं,  

पर दिल में हमेशा साथ हैं।  

वो बचपन का ज़माना प्यारा,  

जिसमें खुशियों का ख़ज़ाना था।

**There was a Time of Childhood**  

Where happiness was a treasure.  

Each day was filled with laughter,  

With no worries to measure.  

We had fairs full of games,  

And dreams that swayed like swings.  

Every moment brimming with joy,  

Our hearts only knew carefree things.  

No concern for tomorrow,  

No troubles for the day.  

We lived with pure delight,  

Whether night or morning’s ray.  

Building little houses of clay,  

Decorating them with friends at play.  

Every small moment felt grand,  

As if we ruled the whole land.  

Now those days are only memories,  

But they stay forever in our hearts.  

That childhood time so dear,  

Where happiness was our treasure apart.
