UNIVERSE: SHRUSHTICHAKRA- CYCLE OF REVELATION

 SHRUSHTICHAKRA

"Shrutichakra" could be "Cycle of Revelation" or "Cycle of Divine Knowledge." This term refers to the eternal and continuous cycle of Vedic knowledge and spiritual wisdom that is revealed and sustained through the ages.

(Adi-Madhya-Ant me Brahma)**:

(Palan Pravritti - Shrutichakra)**:

(Kalrupvyapt - Vinash Sankalp)**:

##################

To explain this process, we need to view it from both a spiritual and elemental perspective, as described in the Vedic and Upanishadic texts.

1. **Atma (Soul)**: The Atma is the ultimate element, eternal and immortal. It is a part of Brahman (the Supreme Being) and resides within living beings, giving them life.

2. **Prakriti (Nature)**: Prakriti originates from the Atma. It is composed of three Gunas—Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas. Prakriti forms the foundation of the entire creation, upon which all material entities depend.

3. **Mahatva (Greatness or Cosmic Intelligence)**: From Prakriti arises 'Mahatva,' also known as 'Mahat' or 'Buddhi Tattva' (intelligence principle). This element is the basis of knowledge and discernment, helping in making decisions about right and wrong in life.

4. **Ahamkar (Ego)**: From Mahatva arises 'Ahamkar' or ego. There are three types of Ahamkar—Sattvic (pure), Rajasic (passionate), and Tamasic (ignorant). Ahamkar gives rise to the notion of "I," creating a sense of individuality separate from Atma and Brahman.

5. **Panchamahabhut (Five Great Elements)**: From Ahamkar, the 'Panchamahabhut' or five great elements are created—Akasha (ether), Vayu (air), Agni (fire), Jal (water), and Prithvi (earth). These five elements combine to form the physical world.

6. **Indriyas (Senses)**: From the Panchamahabhut, the ten senses are created—five sense organs (ears, skin, eyes, tongue, nose) and five action organs (speech, hands, feet, reproductive organs, and excretory organs). Through these senses, living beings experience the world.

7. **Brahmand (Universe)**: The combination of the senses and the Panchamahabhut results in the creation of the universe, encompassing the entire creation.

8. **Vishwakamal (Cosmic Lotus)**: The universe is symbolized by a lotus called 'Vishwakamal.' This lotus represents the totality of creation, containing within it the entire cosmos.

9. **Brahma**: From Vishwakamal, Brahma (the creator) emerges. Brahma is the deity responsible for creating the entire universe.

This process is extensively described in our Vedic texts, providing a profound understanding of life, creation, and the universe.

The creation of the universe by Brahma, including various worlds and realms, is detailed in our scriptures and Puranas. This process is as follows:

1. **Bhu Lok (Earth Realm)**: This is the realm of Earth, where living beings, including humans, reside. It is the lowest of the seven realms and represents the gross physical world.

2. **Bhuvah Lok (Intermediate Realm)**: Above Bhu Lok is Bhuvah Lok, also known as the 'Antariksha Lok' or intermediate space, where the atmosphere exists. This realm is a middle ground between humans and gods.

3. **Swah Lok (Heavenly Realm)**: Swah Lok, also known as 'Swarga Lok,' is the realm of the gods, where Indra and other deities reside. It is a place of joy and bliss.

4. **Seven Patal Lok (Underworld Realms)**: Below Earth, there are seven underworld realms—Atal, Vital, Sutal, Talatal, Mahatal, Rasatal, and Patal. These realms are inhabited by demons, serpents, and other lower beings.

5. **Mahar Lok (Great Realm)**: Above Swah Lok is Mahar Lok, where great sages and ascetics reside. It is a realm of penance and meditation, where souls strive to reach higher realms through their spiritual practices.

6. **Jana Lok (Realm of Birth)**: Above Mahar Lok is Jana Lok, where souls reside that have achieved liberation but continue to exist until the end of Brahma's creation.

7. **Tapo Lok (Realm of Austerity)**: Above Jana Lok is Tapo Lok, where great beings meditate on Brahman and practice severe austerities. This realm exists beyond Brahma's creation and is a place for souls seeking union with Brahman.

8. **Satya Lok (Realm of Truth)**: Above Tapo Lok is Satya Lok, also known as 'Brahma Lok,' the abode of Brahma himself. It is the realm of truth, knowledge, and eternity, where only the experience of eternal bliss and peace exists.

9. **Paramdham (Supreme Abode)**: Above Satya Lok is Paramdham, the ultimate abode of Brahman. Here, souls achieve their final purpose and merge with Brahman. It is the place of Moksha (liberation), free from birth and death, and filled with eternal bliss and peace.

This is a sequential description of the creation of the universe by Brahma, as described in our scriptures and Puranas. Each realm has its own significance and represents different levels of creation.

Here, the concepts of creation, sustenance, and destruction in reference to Brahma, the Shruti Chakra (cycle of the Vedas), and time are explained:

1. **Brahma in the Beginning, Middle, and End (Adi-Madhya-Ant me Brahma)**:

   - **Adi (Beginning)**: Brahma is regarded as the creator at the beginning of creation. He is responsible for the origin of the entire universe, including all beings, realms, and elements.

   - **Madhya (Middle)**: In the middle, Brahma continues to play a crucial role. He oversees the creation he made, ensuring that the processes of creation run smoothly.

   - **Ant (End)**: At the end of creation, Brahma initiates the process of dissolution. While the final destruction is carried out by Shiva (Mahakal), Brahma's role in this process is significant.

2. **Sustenance Tendency - Shruti Chakra (Palan Pravritti - Shrutichakra)**:

   - **Palan Pravritti (Sustenance Tendency)**: After creation, the work of sustenance begins. This is primarily done by Vishnu, who protects and sustains the creation made by Brahma. The proper functioning of creation and the protection of life fall under this tendency.

   - **Shruti Chakra (Cycle of the Vedas)**: The Shruti Chakra symbolizes the continuity of knowledge, Dharma, and truth in creation. This cycle is eternal and infinite, encompassing the knowledge of the Vedas. It maintains Dharma and truth across the various Yugas (Satya, Treta, Dvapara, and Kali Yuga). Through this cycle, Dharma and knowledge are propagated in creation.

3. **All-Pervasive Time and the Resolve of Destruction (Kalrupvyapt - Vinash Sankalp)**:

   - **Kalrupvyapt (All-Pervasive Time)**: The power of time is all-pervasive and is present in every aspect of creation. No one can escape the power of time. Time determines the origin, sustenance, and end of creation. Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are all subject to the laws of time, and their actions are governed by time.

   - **Vinash Sankalp (Resolve of Destruction)**: When creation reaches its final stage, Brahma's resolve for destruction is activated. Under this resolve, the destruction of creation takes place, and all beings, realms, and elements return to Brahman. This destruction occurs through the power of time, and the cycle begins anew for the next creation.

Thus, through Brahma, the sustenance tendency, the Shruti Chakra, and the resolve of destruction, the process of the beginning, middle, and end of creation is completed. This is an unending cycle of creation that continues eternally.

During the resolve of destruction, the entire creation gradually merges back into various elements and qualities. This process occurs in the following sequence:

1. **Body into Food (Sharir Anna me)**: In the process of destruction, the body first dissolves into food. The body, made of the five elements, reverts to the physical substances (food) from which it was formed.

2. **Food into Seed (Ann Bij me)**: From food, seeds are produced. Here, food merges into the seed, which is the source of life and sustenance.

3. **Seed into Soil (Bij Bhumi me)**: The seed merges into the soil. The soil is the foundation for the seed, from which life emerges.

4. **Soil into Scent (Bhumi Gandh me)**: The soil merges into scent. Scent is the primary quality of the Earth element.

5. **Scent into Water (Gandh Jal me)**: Scent merges into water because scent exists within water.

6. **Water into Taste (Jal Gunras me)**: Water merges into its quality, taste. Taste is the primary quality of water.

7. **Taste into Fire (Gunras Tej me)**: Taste merges into fire (Agni Tattva). Fire gives form and shape to taste.

8. **Fire into Form (Tej Rup me)**: Fire merges into form (shape and color). Form is the primary quality of fire.

9. **Form into Air (Rup Vayu me)**: Form merges into air. The form's existence is dissolved in the air element.

10. **Air into Touch (Vayu Sparsh me)**: Air merges into touch. Touch is the primary quality of the air element.

The process of dissolution and merging of elements at the end of creation is described as follows:

11. **Touch merges into Ether (Sparsh into Akash):** The sense of touch dissolves into ether (space). In this process, the tactile sense loses its independent existence within space.

12. **Ether merges into Sound (Akash into Shabd Tanmatra):** Ether then dissolves into the subtle essence of sound. Sound is the primary quality associated with ether.

13. **Sound merges into Tamas (Shabd into Tamas Gun):** Sound merges into the quality of tamas, which symbolizes ignorance and darkness.

14. **The Senses merge into Rajas and Sattva (Indriya into Rajas-Sattva Gun):** The senses dissolve into the qualities of rajas and sattva. These qualities are the basis for the activity and purity of the senses.

15. **Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas merge into Mahat (Sat-Raj-Tam into Mahat):** The three gunas—sattva, rajas, and tamas—merge into Mahat, the great principle that governs the functioning of the universe.

16. **Mahat merges into Prakriti (Mahat into Prakriti):** Mahat then dissolves into Prakriti, the primordial matter that contains all three gunas.

17. **Prakriti merges into Time (Prakriti into Kala):** Prakriti itself merges into Time (Kala), which governs and regulates all processes of creation and dissolution.

18. **Time merges into the Jiva (Kala into Mayank Jiva):** Time dissolves into the conditioned soul (Jiva), which is subject to the influence of time and maya (illusion).

19. **Jiva merges into the Atman (Jiva into Atma):** Finally, the Jiva dissolves into the Atman, the eternal and immortal self, which is the essence of all existence.

In this way, at the end of creation, all elements and qualities successively dissolve into each other, ultimately merging back into the Atman. This process describes the return of all things to Brahman, the ultimate reality, which is eternal and infinite.
